Every August Edinburgh hosts the largest arts festival in the world. Amateur performers to professional names take to the streets of Edinburgh to showcase their talents. The city becomes a very busy place during the Fringe so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to each venue before each show. You may be refused entry if you are late, especially for ticketed events.
